First of all its bullshit from the start, WH ain't gonna get 1 shotted, firstly because hopefully he is in stealth, secondly because he is running regen parry build which is stupidly op for both WE and WH, the only difference is that you are delusional about it and defend even WB which is insane. How are ranked matches going on your WH? Just so very curious. Soooooooooo very funny you preferred playing the OP version of the two.

BuT ExCoM..... lmao, imagine having to get 6 piece sov and relying on m4 (poor choppas) to be somewhat viable in solo ranked. What a joke.


Edit: I checked just to be sure, 141 matches on WE and 0 matches on WH. But I like the AesThestics and the playstyle, no you don't, you like winning.

You mean the game should be balanced around bad and good players?
Hard to comprehend what youre saying tbh but if thats what you mean, doubt thats possible and it makes no sense
+ We are in a game state already where zerging gets you almost everything, so the skill ceiling of the game it self is loads lower already then it used to be.
Its basically a server made for pugs and the moment someone plays better, you have people coming to forums crying for nerfs
not skill ceilling :
but different classes perform differently on certain skill levels .... and you cant always use the ceiling as a good measurement.

That being said, the only mechanic Im seeing right now that needs a gigantic nerf hammer is in-combat restealth. This restealth mechanic was debated endlessly in the beginning of this server and it was very intentionally not implemented by Torq because it was viewed as game breaking and rewarding bad players playing badly.

Where you see them as fotm? It's not like people look for them to build groups or warbands.

The price for this stealth is the cooldown on armor pen elixir or disrupt.
When the enemy team is hitting you all the time, you are locked out of stealth for the most part, which is your class mechanic. Self punt alone doesn't help a lot outside of duels in order to restealth.
Dying is no option.

There is a spike in the number of WEs being played again. This spike coincided with the ranked scs apparently, so one explanation is that WEs are being played heavily there. One interesting side note is WEs have the highest ranked win % for mdps on the destro side. So if you going to do ranked and you want to win, you might as well take a WE.

Regardless, as a general mechanic the pros and cons of in-combat stealth have already been debated endlessly. My point is that I thought this question had been decided long ago and the problems with in-combat stealth far outweighed any of the advantages from a gameplay perspective.

This for whatever reason has changed.

Playing a lot ranked lately on WP, I don't seeing it. The opposite appears to be true to me. There are very few WE you want to have on your ranked team. It's not like the class itself on your team directly rises your win ratio. You don't even encounter noticably more WE than other DPS in ranked.
Dying is no option.
