One thing youre correct in, the two tanks were useless.
I asume you never played with or as a proper tank but the moment a WH or WE pops on youre guardie, its rather easy to get him off.
There are 2 cc abbilities wich are called knockdown and punt.
Use that, instant release of pressure and you have the upper hand.

The story says the tanks were x guarding, so either the dps was not in their party or not related to their party at all. By how the were placed the tanks could have not even realised the dps was getting attacked before they could even help him. It doesnt specify if the tanks were 2h or 1h shield. I can tell you from personal experience that the scenario explained is not far from reality, for both WE and WH. Anyway, maybe I missed the part where he gives more details?

When you use 1-2 tactics for absorb and lifegain, you obviously have less slots for damage tactics. That's pretty clear, no?

Even if it is a l2p issue .... you have to keep in mind that the difference in learning curves is also a balancing factor ....

A lot of people never reach perfection at a class ... AND it is a huge factor how much you have to learn before the class gets viable ...
(a reason why the WL is seen as strong for example is that he reaches the "viable" point very early in the learning curve and the drop off comes at a point a lot of ppl never reach)

Yes its clear , you have 1 more free tactic slot to equip offensive tactic and its done.....

You mean the game should be balanced around bad and good players?
Hard to comprehend what youre saying tbh but if thats what you mean, doubt thats possible and it makes no sense
+ We are in a game state already where zerging gets you almost everything, so the skill ceiling of the game it self is loads lower already then it used to be.
Its basically a server made for pugs and the moment someone plays better, you have people coming to forums crying for nerfs

Lets say 3 bad players / new players are crusing the map
SM /IB /Wh

they suddenly get ganked by a solo choppa BIS, very good player. WH gets bascily 1 shoted and choppa manage to kill both tanks with heal potions, absorbs, m1 while both tanks have 0 potions.


That makes choppa OP? "Nerf choppa" ?
