Funny how destro players in here are trying to downplay the GTDC by saying stuff like it gives free immunity and stuff.

How good is free immunity when you are getting pulled into their blob with screwed up camera, can't move and die afterwards? In keeps or forts it's game over when you are getting pulled through floor and can't be rezzed. It happens all the time.

There are tons of people rolling choppas. There is a reason for that and GTDC is one of it. It is strong aoe, utility and gives easy kills. Saying that you can avoid it by staying ranged is ridiculous. You can't. Choppas can move much faster towards you than you can move away from them, due to the increased movement speed while channeling GTDC. Add some lag to it and it's feeled ~60ft you are getting pulled. They only have to move a little towards you and can pull you from far back.

Have multipe choppas all channelling and you just see tons of people flying into the destro melee blob spamming aoe without target, which means you are getting instantly hit after a pull and you gonna have the focus of their backlines on you afterwards.

Suck people in and watch them die. How good is that? It's so good that they nerfed magus/engi pulls hard, yet choppas can keep abusing it, instant with good aoe damage and movement speed on top, in their primary cookie cutter spec.

GTDC has been broken since 2018. Search the bug tracker guys, there's a "fresh" post from May 2022 already.

I doubt fixing it is realistically on the cards. Without being pedantic or lazy ability swap, what would you replace it with? Go type out a proposal if you have an idea.

I love the 2022 creations date accounts being longtime players though... hell, Lumpi33's acct seems to be created just to post about GTDC... This whole forum is infested atm...

When you pull enemy melees and their tanks, who are not running away from you, you actually give them free immunity.
Only people without group support/guard are bothered by this pull, especially if they don't want to get into melee range in the first place.
Dying is no option.

Slayer rampage is easy to counter cause you can just shatter the enchantment, right?

Just interrupt the Choppa when he's spamming GtdC - the animation is pretty obvious. Its that easy to counter, right?

There are a lot of situations where you want to fall back or get away. In that situations the mara/choppa pulls are huge. No matter if you pull a tank or anything else. If it is zergy that target is gonna die.

Order on the other hand doesn't have the run away gits, doesn't have the snare proc on the WP prayer, doesn't have that good mara/choppa pulls and doesn't a moral 2 to become immune to everything. Focused mind makes you immune to CC but not to pulls. A destro firing that m2 will just run away. An order firing that m2 still gonna get pulled. That is pretty ridiculous.

What free immunity are you even talking? You can always get snared and Im not sure about choppa pull but after a mara pull you can get knocked down. Even if you can't get knocked down as tank. Doesn't mean anything because knocked down tanks still parry and block, which is also pretty ridiculous.

That free immunity doesn't even matter. The pull is superior.

Try to remove a tank from his guard target, who is immune to punts.
Dying is no option.

Simple fix without any testing is decrease Choppa pull distance to 25 ft

Sorry but choppa pull is random OP ****, which every choppa mindlesly spamm.

Another simple fix:
Make choppa pull effect as a new core ability with global CD. Dou you wanna pull the enemy? Sacrifice your global cooldown.

Or just remove the pull effect and strenghten the other aspects of it(e.g up the damage component / give it parry strike-through bonus etc, something that fits the theme orky/smash )
