If it helps, back on live I remember being hit with a 8 k one.

The TTK is too short right now (can be fixed with a mix of reducing crit damage modifiers on certain classes, reducing the cost of crit damage renown reduction, increasing the amount of health wounds provides, etc.).

Also, ROR has a 'stun lock' problem right now where, while you are Knocked Down you lose your avoidances (dodge, etc.) and are killed. Basically, every melee right now needs an auto-detaunt vs ranged classes.

Also, I have a shelved 80+ Choppa due to RORs direction vs the Choppa/Slayer mechanic. -50% resistance / armor is too steep a price to pay for the damage increases that other classes get so freely. My 90+ Choppa on live was never this squishy.

You've got a guard, a healer who is awake and 8-9k health right?

If not, might want to start there to solve your problems.

And, of course, I'm sure you are completely ignoring the times you've destroyed someone in under 3 seconds by hoovering them into your melee blob because that was just supposed to happen.

I mean they are supposed to die not you, right?

Source?
Was this tested recently?
This is not how it should work, nor how it worked a few months ago.

Try and play order against SH. Considering how often people dodge arrows I also can't confirm any of that stun rumor I've heared of here for the first time. I'd support redesigning the class according to SH design philosophy. Huge burst dmg in a short window rather than in 1-2 skills that are single hits. It will actually be a buff, believe it or not - imagine having SH + pet burst in a range class without the pet that scales with the laughable procc meta.

Also OP should probably get a tank friend on his choppa.

Being furious wouldn't have changed how much damage Festering Arrow did as it ignores resistances with the tactic.

I got hit by fester for 4k on my WE in an sc last night, not seen 4k+ outside of the wc buff before in RoR. Not even mad, running away after a gank attempt on a vanq equipped WE, I expect to get hit hard but I was a bit stunned...

so what? i got hiut 2.9k from poison arrer last night in Praag with my healer and I am not here complaining. Those single target specs are designed for such damage spikes. The class is fragile and do a lot of damage. use LOS or get a guard+healer that are not sleeping.

ST skills are supposed to hurt, overwise why would you even use them? They still fall of hard in ORVR. The bigger the battle is, the less this 3k damage matters.
