[The Issue]

The woes of Witch Hunters and Witch Elves are well-chronicled, ironclad facts in these forums. More than any other class, they represent the bottom-of-the-barrel of the current meta due to the poor implementation of stealth, the presence of melee deathballs against a melee class wearing light armor, and the lack of skills which contribute to most RvR endeavors. This proposal will not address any of these issues directly since innumerable suggestions have been proffered already, and will instead proffer a new alternative to the din of voices begging for change.

[The Solution]

I propose adding an ability to the kits of these woebegone classes, one that was discussed and distilled to its current form HERE. Rather than a tactic which would reduce their damage output even further, an ability can be developed by a player with purposeful intention, and thus its strategic usage is reflected in the skill of the player. The Core abilities for WH/WE's read:

Condemn : Execution. Requires Accusations. Requires pistol. Ailment; 30 ft. Range; 35 action points; 20s Cooldown Blah blah flavor text; Deals no damage but apply a debuff to your target that lasts 2 seconds per Accusation consumed. If your target dies with this debuff, they automatically respawn with no chance for a resurrection.

Desecrate : Frenzy. Requires Blood Lust.. 5 ft. Range; 35 action points; 20s Cooldown Blah blah flavor text; Deals [moderate] damage per Blood Lust spent, and applies a debuff that lasts 2 seconds per Blood Lusts spent. If your target dies with this debuff, they automatically respawn with no chance for a resurrection.
