Problem

The stealth classes predominant role is that of solo roaming stealth assassins. The stealth mechanic and their escape abilities makes them the best classes for this role, freeing them of depending on zerg surfing/fighting by warcamps etc.

Some changes in RoR have made them even more suited to this, in particular the vanish escapes and the recent excellent extended stealth duration change.

However with later sets being released the burst damage and ability to kill in this role have become increasingly diminished. Many classes they may encounter, healers, dps healers (shaman in particular), tanks and defensive mdps are increasingly difficult to even threaten when equally geared.

Solution

Some form of damage buff is required so they can effectively resume the stealth assassin role.

Proposal 1

The simplest solution would be for sanctified oil/elixir of shadows and the 100% armour pen/100% disrupt relics to have different cooldowns. This would enable stealth classes to use offensive relics more liberally and being able to combine disrupt/armour pen buffs would enable stealth classes to better threaten dps healers.

Proposal 2

The 50% crit damage tactic is required in every effective setup in both stealth classes. Make this built in to both classes, freeing up a tactic slot for a variety of more effective setups.

Proposal 3

Make the seal of destruction/elixir of insane armour debuff effect in-built into the stealth openers. This would effectively greatly buff their stealth assassin potential without unbalancing them in group play where stealth is difficult to use frequently.

This also ties the armour debuff effect to stealth openers and allows a different relic use (e.g escape) after the stealth opener as the cool downs are now seperate. However it also removes the option to choose when to use the 7 second armour debuff in combat having tied it to stealth opening. A very effective buff streamlining the classes to the stealth assassin role.

Furthermore in the vacated armour debuff relic spot a heal debuff relic could be added. A mini version of the WH excommunicate relic would be useful to counter the plague of roaming dps healers e.g. all healing on your target is prevented for 5 seconds.
