Currently:
Magus specced into right tree for the AoE pull ability is left with very few AoE skills with good damage. In fact, good Magus players notoriously used only demonic lash skill, which generated best damage and provided relative mobility and good area of effect. Assuming lack of serious investment into middle tree changing skills are much less efficient, leading to a very bland gameplay.
Idea:
Daemonology mastery tree has three main AoE damaging skills: infernal blast, demonic lash and channeled Warpfire. Unfortunately, Warpfire is underperforming in multitude of ways (stationary, less effective area of range and lower damage), partially due to having different damage type then all the other AoE Magus skills. What I'm proposing is changing its damage type to spirit, to match demonic lash. This way it will also benefit from Magus spirit debuff skill which should make it outdamage demonic lash. This way, in specific situations it will be more effective to use, which should make daemonology Magus gameplay a bit more engaging. Notably, it's still going to remain a stationary skill, which will massively restrict it's usability despite better damage profile.
