as gobtar said the 1rst path present a more "assoult mode" of the wh, that said an assoult mode that do not keep in mind that the enemy are a lots is not a brute force mastery.

My suggestion is to make the wh dragon gun a aoe spamable armor debuff based on the meccanic charges, this way wh would make relevant other aoe melee set up with out steal stuff like CD increase from other classes, also it would be something unique since no other classes would have a spamable aoe armor debuff.

a rvr build like this would be pretty cool

it would fit well with the theme of the excessive force actually bring something reliable for a aoe melee wb.

I disagree entirely on a AoE armor debuff, because Slayers.

do you see more bw or slayer in rvr? bw still making more dmg and until they just do not roll only x8 slayer it's ok. Actually aoe = bw, if slayer can be viable as a bw but require a wh then im fine with it.
Also do not need to be a very high armor debuff, something base would work. Also if less bw are fielded this also mean less SM and more IB.

What if instead of armor, Dragon gun debuffed resistances?

Like a large AoE cone corp debuff similar to WAAAAGH ?

Armor debuff would be a great thing for duoWH) awesome thing. Idk about Orvr, but i guess it will bring nothing.

ini debuff buff more bw than other classes due to crit stacking, armor debuff buff only physical dmg classes. Also SM alredy provide a ini debuff aoe.
Anyway even if wl fall back into the aoe matter it should not and that would benefith wl too since he dosen't have an armor ingore like maraunder have for the aoe, which is one of the things that keep dmg of the channeling inferior to the mara one.

@outgoing heal debuff can be discarded because wh can alredy provide it aoe with dragon gun+ bullet for 5 sec, same for ap drain and initiative debuff, all these things can alredy be do by an aoe wh. The lack of finisher spam due the 10 sec CD it's the problem also togheter with the redundancy with SM for initiative. An aoe wh will still hide and pop on healers but will debuff the heals they make, add a kobs cast time increase for additional fun and a aoe heal debuff for front line for even more fun.
