The Issue:
Now that [True Strike] (max 14% blanket strikethrough) has been added to the RoR environment, I feel the development team must take a look at the renown tree [Defender].
Defender allows a max spend of 20 renown points to increase Block by a max of 10%. [Deft Defender] and [Reflexes] are an equal point spend at 20 points for a gain of 18% Dodge & Disrupt and Parry respectively.
For Sword and Board tanks in the game today, attaining a useable Block rating of 15%, with the gear and base stats in game is often close to max if you disregard stacking +block from non-BIS items and temporary Morales and abilities.
With [True Strike] you can attain 14% Block Strikethrough making a base 15% to block at 20 points spend irrelevant.
Proposal:
Leave [True Strike] as-is, and change [Defender] to allow a 20 point to reward 18% Block. This would bring the renown tree [Defender] and the Block stat up to a level playing field with [Deft Defender] and [Reflexes]. Not doing so will relegate Sword and Board classes even further back in the hierarchy of usefulness in both large scale and small scale groupings.

Re: Renown Tree: Defender
In light of recent changes to evasive stats/strikethrough via basestat/removal of true strke, I am declining this.
