Ruin Gear Wipe

Hello everyone,

Since PQ contribution wasn't working properly, people who hadn't actively participated in PQs were rewarded with bags. To make matters worse, some PQs didn't drop people from the contribution list after they left the area, adding them to every loot roll until they logged out.
Because of this, we have decided to wipe all Ruin gear that anyone has received so far, while at the same time implementing a less random system for calculating contribution. This new system will not be perfect, and will most likely be changed again in the future, but at least it will not award those who AFK.

We regret having to make this decision, but we think it is the best option we have at the moment.
Additionally, we will be fixing more PQs so that players can contribute more individually to each one they participate in.

I think the change was needed... too many afks were getting gear that they had no business getting. Maybe we can do something for keep drops in the future as well.

Fair enough. I'd personally rather have to start grinding them all over again than feel that bad taste in my mouth from all the leechers.

Are you also going to fix the low level xp leechers that have started to appear?
Seen toons in their mid 20's in the Dark Elf T4 PQ tonight. It doesn't sit right...

I feel bad for the people that earned the gear honestly but I suppose it was the right thing to do. Nicely done :]
