I was able to implement Sildurs fix for working lightmaps while using Reshade 3.

What I did:
- Created new fresh WAR client folder
- Unticked read-only in its properties
- Open game and tick lightmaps in video/customize settings - close WAR.


Installing Reshade:
- Choose WAR.exe file
- Pick Directx3D 10+
- Install all shaders

That creates dxgi.dll, dxgi.ini and reshade-shaders folder

Enabling lightmaps:
- Copy paste binkw32.dll from Sildurs Mod folder (replace old one)
- Copy dxgi.dll from WAR folder to anywhere - we need 2 copies of that file - one still in WAR folder and other somewhere else.
- Rename that dxgi.dll to sildurs_mod.dll and move to WAR folder - we need file with sildurs_mod.dll name because binkw32.dll needs it to toggle lightmaps on. And in same time we need dxgi.dll file to run Reshade at all :)

Setting up Reshade 3 GUI:
- Open game - check that Reshade 3 info shows up at top of the game screen
- Open GUI - Shift + f2 and click Settings tab
- add "\reshade-shaders\shaders" to Effect Search Paths window and
- "\reshade-shaders\textures" Texture Search Paths window (cant copy paste - need to be typed)
- Here you can add your toggle key for all shaders (Effects Toggle Key window)
- click Home tab
- follow tutorial with clicking Continue
- click reload on the bottom

Voila! you got all installed shaders and you are ready to make own presets.

I think Reshade 3 is much better to use than Reshade 2 cause of easy creating and installing presets - which are now in game folder and easy to shade .ini files.

All credits belong to all-mighty Sildur for enabling lightmaps while using Reshade.

PS. Was able to use same method to install Reshade 2 GUI to create own presets.
Only difference is you choose d3d11 for used API (instead of obvious d3d9) when creating RoR game profile.

Hi,

I have installed it, as described, mentiones that Reshade 2.0.1088 by Crosire is installed
It says compile succeeded, but then comes with an error message" Could not find application profile, falling back to default.

What am i doing wrong? or is this intended to mention it?

I did the NVIDIA profile import, did place the 3 files and the reshade folder in the war.exe folder, but i am unsure if it is working? Anyone?

the steps above are for Reshade 3, so dont install v2, just install this: https://reshade.me/downloads/ReShade_Setup_3.1.2.exe

Since i updated from the old launcher to the new version, it seems that all my nvidia settings dont work anymore ingame. Like AA and AF. Any idea how to fix it? Been playing around in the settings a lot but it just doesnt seem to apply to the game anymore.

Hey, works fine. Tried your preset and for me personally its to dark. Are there more Presets around?

PS. i finally managed getting smaa with my radeon on sildurs mod! :D

my question is, how does it affect your performance, I used sildurs enhancements back 2 years ago and it was killing my machine (well, now got a new one) but I'm still afraid how it will work in bigscale fights with lightmaps on and effect popping left and right
