Developer Preview: Stonewatch Changes

Hello everyone,

With the upcoming Fortress release I thought it would be good to show some of the changes made to Stonewatch.

The images on the left are from the 1.4.8 patch, the ones on the right are new.

1 - We can see some texture changes on the side of the mountain and the new building for the new mechanic.

2 - The edge of Stonewatch and Kadrin Valley. You can see that the textures before were broken in places.

3 - Sharp lines between rock and stow textures existed in the old version.

4 - This part looks different and previously the path abruptly went from snow to rock

5 - Again in this previously the path abruptly went from snow to rock. You can also see the new mechanic building to the right.

Thanks,
Max

Looks nice! Does this mean that some day the glitchy texture on the ramp that approaches Doomstriker Vein in Thunder Mountain might one day be fixed? I've always found it disconcerting when you ride across it and for a second or two it looks like you are going to fall through the world...

You don't need to be a scientist to know that.

That looks great, including a new building for a new mechanic.

If there's a new building in Stonewatch for the new mechanic does this means there's a new building in the 5 other forts or is it only in Stonewatch?

Building was needed in stonewatch as its a cramped space.
