Not sure as it was mentioned that the 7pc-procs work like an additional tactic.
Do the attacks have to successfully land or is the proc activated on "cast"? If so, what about skills like Big Swing or WAAAAAAAGH!?

2H Tanks still have challenge and 25% guard. As the main job of tank is to mitigate damage from your group thats still alot. Healers dont keep that sort of effectiveness when they are alt spec.

Not gonna lie but I believe that 2h builds were dead or lackluster for WBs. I've never seen TuP or other top guilds using 2h tanks in WB so it would be better for 2h tanks to be DPS for WB than some questionable Tanks. This is just my opinion.
i can post my conqueror bg rr 70 and wrote all his stats and prove is a solid tank for wb play (name Sintoras)

75%parry
39% dodge (with friendly hold the line is 84%)
35% disrupt(with friendly hold the line is 79%)(you can also add 10% from willp buff if you really want)

-1050 toghness
-400 str
-400 wep skill mroe or less
-all res overcapped +300 the debuff value (with chosen)

(-2h ingore 10% block)
-aoe 10% crit debuff
-aoe 10% block/parryd debuff
-aoe snare (per last change)
-aoe spam (justify loose shield/ hold the line)
-dark protector bubble
-m1 panic button (cleanse + heal + restore ap )
-m2 aoe punt (undefeatbale)


tactics:
-toughness x2
-malekit bulwark
-parry tactic

-magic dmg reuction by chosen aura + malekit bulwark 60-65%
-able to keep up consistent aoe in place of use hold the line (small values like 100-200 aoe so nothing enormous offensivly)
-debuffer for whole wb ( aka dmg multipelr for wb)
-order tanks are all block based when in s+b which mean 2h bg have a free 10% ingore (on top of his 10% debuff to blockl/parry, which mean bg work perfectly as debuffer).

a tank like this should always have 1 spot in wb reserved in place of a BO, if not 2.

p.s snare should had not be moved down imo was goot at 13 pt while parry tactic was fine be moved down

s+b in sc: revert dumb buff to 2h like ch/kobs punt for 2h user and cut out 2h tanks in small scale for things like KD etc make critical choice more hard for 2h in small scale ( aka on st stuff not aoe)

2h in rvr: give em a way to aoe

ch/IB can be made work with cd reduction skill to have spamable aoe
BO/BG: alredy work fine in wb as 2h post rr 40
SM: need to have a perfect balance which do aoe like black ork which work only in 2h, phoenix wing is the perfect target for that, it was asked multiple times and was always denyied to give it, aswell as increase parry buff from 5 sec into 7 at lest to allow 2h def build to stop being reliable on the channeling because you cant use other stuff while channeling wods
KOBS: need 3rd mastery a rework possible an aoe spam to be in line with BG somewhere, leaving left mastery more small scale and right hybrid, unbalancing attack is a good candidate for such thing for exemple.

aoe couple based on way to do aoe

kobs/bg-> 1 skill can spam aoe at a cost ( bg use meccanic / kobs debuff his defesne by take more dmg for exemple)
sm/bo-> have 2 / 3 attacks that can be aoe
also there has alredy been a focus offensive thread discussion in balance with 2 good proposal at t3 times, dev could go back and look at it instead...

This 2 handed guard damage change is too great a nerf for all the good 2 handers out there.

I respectfully suggest reverting the guard damage back to 50% and in it's place nerf the M1 for Zealot.

why you assume 2h tanks will change to SnB ?
there were not many 2h tanks interest in guard job anyway.

let's be honest.
how many of you play 2h tank for 50% dmg reduction?
prime purpose was utility from 2h. guard was second priority. am i wrong?
only handful few 2h tanks valued guard over utility.

for majority
most important was 2h skills, guard was just put and forget thing.

now that bonus is halved.
would you change to snb? i think not. cuz guard was never your interest.
so there will be less dmg reduction = more dmg = more kills.

time to test guys.

p.s guard and detaunt don't stack.

Yes - yes I would change to SNB: your primary role as a tank (both SNB and 2h) is to support and aid your teammates by taking damage meant for them to yourself; you do this via Guard, which is your absolute number 1 priority.

You cannot look at 'certain suicidal 2H SMs' in SC (who have never had any intention of bettering themselves or playing with their teammates, together, as a unit) and assume such selfish and chaotic play is what every 2H tank aspires to be like.

If you refuse to use your Guard, then that is your prerogative, and I strongly suggest that you play another class.
