So today in Black Crag we had a jailbreak from destro right after we pushed inside
They managed to break free only to meet with a dead lord.
This needs tuning in my opinion. Right now, fortress is a massacre with no strategy in play.
The lord should be secondary to the fight, and only a time sink, IMO.

the lord die too fast for sure regardless of side, please put a dmg cap; it should not be able t be kill it before 7 min of combat

Forts need a redesign. 95% of games are defense losses and people prefer this to the old 75 minute stalemate games. Defenders are outnumbered and have artillery damage with hardly any choke anymore + solar flare shenanigans.
Warcamp being right by the jail is a huge boost to attackers as well and utterly ridiculous that fighting at the jail attackers can just kite to guards.

When you have a bad stage I for the defenders and they allow attackers to have 5 flags on constant basis - that's what happen.
However when defenders are having the majority of flags, lord is close to impossible to deal with.
Learn the mechanics, stop with pug mentality.

Does everything always have to be tedious and difficult? I find it refreshing that NPC tapping doesn't take too long. It already takes a while until the zones are locked, the fort is the end. Please leave it as it is, thank you.

What a coincidence that defenders have only 0-1 flag in most fort sieges, when step 1 is done.
Dying is no option.

It's not everyone's fault that majority chooses to play in suboptimal warbands filled with6unwanted classes for the wb vs xwb combat.
On top of that, playing uterrly braindead.

We managed to have some successful defenses (with open postern, yes), and with a good BO defense in stage 2, lord is very strong.
One recent battle was won because lord had so much hp attackers couldnt finish him off before timer ran out (and it was like 10min from the end).
Another one I was attacker side, and boss had so much life defenders managed to prison break 2 times before we could finally end it, at third attempt.
It was largely due to good defense on stage 2, and yes it's doable if organized enough.
Main problem in fortresses is that loot roll is pure RNG ; this doesnt incentivize enough to paly good game ; you can just sit in your camp doing nothing for 1h and roll a gold.
Not to mention bags are very limited (they should be double the current amount, maybe stay with 6 gold but double the number of other bags since loot is not very valuable either... 1-5 invader medal instead of a gear wich is 20+ in value is not especially good either).
If there is clearly improvement and balance to do, its on contribution vs loot roll, and value of loot itself ; with this you give real carrots to fight for instead of the current afk game we have now...

It is more likely, that the realm, which successfully pushed to fort, has more organized warbands.
