I'd just like to add that with the queuing it now does, the 1.5 GCD feels much better than before, a bit confused why this wasn't there in the first place. As someone that played new world made by devs with a massive budget I guess can't expect RoR to have perfectly tested patches before releasing. Now hopefully in the coming days the AP regen will be improved and the game will be much more playable again. However I assume balance before was based on the shorter GCDs so there may need to be some more changes!

I appreciate all the hard work you guys have put into this game, but no explanation change the fact that combat in RoR, after latest patch, is garbage. Unplayable for my part.

If I had to describe latest patch with one word: Surströmming

Oh, and GCD was NOT the standard in MMOs.

We had growing pains with the currency patch. But when the dust settled game was in a better place. I'm confident same will happen with the latest patch.

Thanks for all the hard work from the team.

New "Battlefield Master" and "Advanced Battlefield Master" buffs, which were originally on Live. These buffs give +25 AP pool each and will be active for all characters at CR40 RR50 & CR40 RR60.

Also, future patch notes will always be reviewed by the Community Management team before going live in order to ensure proper communication and transparent explanations. I ask you from now to give us feedback if there are still gaps in patch notes and we will make sure to dig into more details when needed/feasible.
Please god tell me the teams grand solution to the AP problem isn't just giving everyone a +50 AP cap boost so we can cast 1.5 more spells before being completely starved again?

The only assumption I can make if this is the only solution being proposed is that the slow GCD + AP starved experience drastically gimping combat fluidity and enjoyment that has been RoR gameplay this week is the design direction the team have for the game going forward.

I don't want to say too much without more info, but if we can have a week of drastically neutered AP regen due to untested changes, surely we can at least try a week with some creative solutions in the other direction including things Dalen has already mentioned like AP/s from gear/talis ticking irrespective of the GCD/casting?

I don't get it, you're asking for more transparency and the first thing you do when you read one is assume that this is the "grand solution" as a mockery. No this isn't the grand solution.

The AP thing sucks but I am sure within a few weeks it will be fixed, so no stress there.

I am just looking forward to the day when Sequencer has more bells and whistles and my Apothecary around dyes isn't broken. I have lost my ability to make my gold dyes and that makes this guy really sad.

Thank you all for your volunteer service !!!
You're sadly kicking a dead horse here. I posted multiple times on both the addon website and on these forums for weeks about changes needed, and was finally told by Wargrimmer before he left the team that the Sequencer was getting no other changes. We all know a huge amount of players left when NB got nuked. Not sure what to say any longer. They just don't listen.

However, in the Devs defense this time, I think the 1.5 GCD is the best change they have made in this game since I have played it. Melee doesn't feel insanely OP any longer which is a big plus.

Is it possible to buff Expanded Capacity, the +ap pool realm ability? The first tier is extremely expensive at 10 points for just 10 ap.

I actually added more to my original comment to try and add something constructive to it but didn't finish it before you'd replied, my bad.

And just to clarify I really do appreciate any and all transparency from the team - wasn't my intention to mock and I definitely need to work on my feedback delivery, but it does come from a genuine place of concern for *the* core element of the game; combat

I'm glad to hear there's more to be done, and any info you can give us on that would be very much appreciated. To myself and clearly many others, this is one of the most time sensitive fixes the game has ever needed

So the current patch has removed almost all open RVR combat in NA times. We get some overlap from some time zones but at 10-11pm eastern the game is dead. Scenarios dead. I will play this game however you change it but if I am running through the lakes looking for the other moron on the other faction that still wants to play this game I would rather watch porn and go to bed…

Should abilities that drain AP be adjusted? Feels like those abilities have a much bigger impact now, that AP regen has slow down.
