late chosen build, mostly trolly but fun as a backline bruiser disrupter, solo roaming and small scale dmg support

offensive sov until u get the 6% crit bonus, victorious boots, cape and ring (the dmg proc is extremely bad unless u are in a wb doing aoe). you have space to use the grimshimer regen chest.

rugged is ass, toughness is underwhelming same as strenght, swap rugged for flawless armor and go all crit in RR trainer you will have like 40-50% crit, all parry, all disrupt/dodge or at least 3, and 1 futile strikes or 2.

chosen must be the class with the most underwhelming 13 point abilities of all tanks, Rending blade is a mediocre ability that you dont need unless you wanna do the middle tree build with KD and corruptive power, same as oppression, so tzeentch reflection along with the tree abilities upgrades is just the best choice for me, its how a chosen will feel different somehow...

So you dont need either rending blade or daemonclaw (140+ str and tough sounds good on paper but you wont feel much different, stats increasers are boring) take relentless, oppressing blows and ap aura, TAKE tzeentch reflection, quake and siphoned something ( speed on disrupt ) order has so many ranged casters that is a very nice tactic to have... Discord path makes your resists aura very strong and this is the best aura, makes touch of palsy more powerfull and your ravages better as well.

ARMOR BUILDS: if i remember correctly, always look for % modifiers or something more fun than stats increasers:

sov with 6% crit, 3 victorious and regen pve chest. (with victorious i think you lack parry, you can slot some gunbad rings to have 5% and another 6% with the victorious ring) regen is fine with the regen chest, sov shoulders and mushroom.

sov until 15% crit damage, 2 warlord, 2 victorious or sentinel ( if you want to have more str)

sentinel until the snare/root immunity proc... probably the best and most fun proc in the game but its 10% and you need to do single target dmg so its unreliable af but when it procs its just the best, combine this with speed disrupt tactic, quick escape, and fortress 2h proc and you can move freely on the battlefield, super punt works very well with this ( you will deal less dmg with this set tho ).

THE GIGA CHAD build of course is to remove your chest and show your perfect steel chosen physique, you may need fleshrenders and regen on vic/sent ring for this one. but you will still remain with strong dmg and even tankiness.

WEAPONS: fortress 2h and bloodlord for dmg, harrower if you get ganked by many WH's...... ( malal, doom look strong but doesnt have crit, its just a very standart weapon at least the dot is kinda good sometimes ) the sentry axe with 4%4% is very good for tanking, the blue pve common ass 2h that gives 6% disrupt is good for some situations as well.

TACTICS:

flawless armor, opressing blows, warped flesh, backlash for most melee encounters.

same but swap backlash for siphoned energy if there is some casters around.

sometimes you need ap on parry or power of the gods ap tactic, i wish they where as good as the knights ap one. So i dont use them often.

if your team really needs the super punt tryhardness then again take of backlash.

if you have a very strong 6man or 3man with heals, or if there is another proper tank you can use Focused offense, get used to this tactic it can really give you a nice boost to your dmg and crits, because this build is all about crits and good dmg for a chosen. Sometimes is all about taking 1 or 2 kills, no matter how tank you are nothing will save you from a zerg.

AURA: str, resists, ap... the best auras is the ones that gives something to your grp and takes something from theirs... ap aura feels kinda weird with the recent ap changes

STATS :
700-900 str you are pretty much fine with this you dont need str soft cap, str scales poorly with tanks. For example 150 str its like 40 more dmg to your ravage

400-700 toughness: in my experience toughness will feel the same but with 500 toughness you can hold pretty well in any situation.

wounds is always good, 900+ its what you need.

Parry: 40% is the sweet spot for chosen, you depend on supression so much if you are below this range.

disrupt and dodge are good in 25% or more, this is very hard to get, you can get 40% base disrupt with rings and some common weapons but this is only for ping pongs rvr experiences. tzeentch reflection gives you another 30%... DONT DISCARD DISRUPT AND DODGE, it actually works if you have a lot and order is like 80% range classes

MORALES:

champion challenge, get used to it, its one of the best m1 morales in the game, range has so many tools to escape f*** their focused mind, very good against any class mostly WH, SW and WL

inevitable change i think its called, the green m1 dmg+all ap back is good for keep doing dmg and great against ap drainers like AM.

everything will be fun unless there is a runepriest or healing AM in the corner... healers are the fun police of this game (mostly runepriests) and you will hate them with all your might, very hard to deal with them as a chosen, just avoid them or focuss them with other dps, prob wont be enough tho.

sorry for the long and ugly to look at post.

the other advice, get used to focused offense + bloodlord and 2.8k armor, you can still deal against most classes and its actually more fun but just cant tank properly if you are getting focused... who cares you are almost always dead if you are getting zerged anyways... ( not safe against wh party, but who is anyways )
