I guess the delayed mail applies to AH mail as well, because I just spent a lot of gold on the AH and received none of the things I bough? If thats the case its odd having a mail delay on AH. :o How long is the delay any way?
It appears to be about 60 minutes, that's what it's taking me mailing to my alts and me buying off the AH.

I can't wait to tell all my friends that the time is nigh to return to ror with this mailing change! I already scheduled the new chapter 1 epic quest on the guild calendar!

Why would the playerbase not want their mails to be instantly delivered?
Is this some roleplay attempt at making ingame mail work like it does in real life? (real question, not trolling)

If I had to guess, it's an exploit being prevented.

I was healing as shaman at fort today and FoDG was displaying as "-green number" in combat log suddenly. And visually it was showing yellow numbers above friendly targets instead of green numbers. It didn't feel like it was damaging allies since hp bars would've dropped visibly getting -2k hits, but it didn't seem that the healing was delivered properly either. It really felt like FoDG was doing nothing despite registering all the expected healing in warband statistics window.

It’s that way for any direct heals, or at least that’s what my testing showed. It’s already on the big tracker.
