Hello!
Exactly what it says in the title really. Any defensive Witch Elves that can recommend me what talisman's I should be slotting in an ideal world will earn my undying appreciation!
Cheers!

I would do mostly armor talis on deff we.
Re: (Witch Elf) defensive tali's: toughness, wounds, armour?
Really depends on what you are trying to do. Wounds, Toughness, or Armors make sense in certain builds.

Armored witch elves are not true witch elves.Witch Elves are the most bloodthirsty of the Dark Elves, and are no less vicious in battle than they are elsewhere. They do not carry shields, caring nothing for their own protection, and are armed with sharp swords and long knives whose edges are dipped in venom.[2a] On the eve of war, Witch Elves drink blood laced with poisonous herbs, driving them into a divine frenzy. Whilst in this god-touched state, the Witch Elves (already foregoing shields) give no thought to their own defence, and seek only to hack foes apart in a blood-drenched orgy of slaughter.[1a]

I went for full Armor and have around 3k now, still around 500 toughness and 7,2k wounds

There was a suggestion from "desizt" about defensive build in another WE topic and many people still loves it.

"Renown: 2 levels of Futile Strikes, Max Regeneration, rest on Deft Defender
Run 5 pieces of Dominator (the passive hp barrier procs often and helps a lot), 1 Corset of Mercenary (more hp regen), 2x Sentry Stiletto of Tyranny (blue scs, purple ones are worse actually), Genesis Cloak of Undying, Genesis Remnant of Undying, 3x Dark Band of Fleshrender
ALL armor Talis. Armor + toughness potion.
End result is 600 toughness, 0% incoming crit, 25-30% disrupt/dodge
Your Witchbrew doesn't scale with strength anyway, so your skills would be: Wrecking Pain, Envenomed Blade 3x and fill with Disarm/Buff removal.
With 5 combo points, pop witchbrew, get 1 more combo point and pop Ruthless Assault to proc all Witchbrew stacks for nice burst.
vs Healers you'd use AP Drain kiss and vs dps when you need to sustain you use Kiss of Death"
Of course up to you eventually, but it's a good post from him in terms of forming an idea about def WE, there is also a link to build.

Sure but neither are stealthy ones. Lore wise they're berserkers.Avanos wrote: ↑Thu Sep 22, 2022 3:34 amArmored witch elves are not true witch elves.Witch Elves are the most bloodthirsty of the Dark Elves, and are no less vicious in battle than they are elsewhere. WE who put poison on their dagger and run around fighting everybody are the only true WE. Those who hide in the shadow and pick off squishy targets are not true Witch Elfs.Avanos wrote: ↑Thu Sep 22, 2022 3:34 amArmored witch elves are not true witch elves.Witch Elves are the most bloodthirsty of the Dark Elves, and are no less vicious in battle than they are elsewhere.
