lagging on Windows 10

I just downloaded RoR, following the instructions, but after launching the game I see everything jerkily.

it's a problem in the game. What can I do?

chopping dont understand it. poor quality or constant fps drops lag as in hell. ping with 500ms? even game is old u need normal cpu (load faster things personaly i use 8mb cash previous i have 1mb cpu and game feeled laggy) also updating all those directx and visualc++ is good. byt without seen screen hard to help.
ah maby check louncher gear wheel press on stable and than save. and also good to wait louncher autoupdate all stuff (if needed)

Bad lag --> 1. get better Internet --> 2. Move to France

Hi! Thanks for the answers. I'm still having problems, but disabling "use fullscreen" from settings and forcing the game to play in a window... problems disappear.

(now setted: windowed & full screnn = 1440 x 900)
