Yea, WL is in a pretty bad spot atm. Loner WB AOE spec is impossible to play due to AP issues unless you have a Knight with AP Aura and RP with Ap battery helping you. They also just lost their M2 AOE dmg so no more M2 drops for order with WLs.

ST WL is hard to play because the pet is so bugged, so you try to fight and your lion just despawns and you lose half your damage.

6 months later and WL hasnt been fixed yet. I wonder where priorities are if not in fixing bugs that came with Big abbility redesign patch.

Just check at 25s when he drops like 150ft and pet is already at the target when you pounce to it and not disappeared. Watch the whole thing and see how fun WL movement and Burst was, and how the pet could work!

I honestly dont understand why the devs do not give this a higher priority, 50% of the class is near unplayable with this slow running WL pet( it must be at least 50% slower than before the ability rework).

It can't catch any goblins, heck it is having a hard time catching up with everything including the WL(player) himself.

The pet is exactly as fast as a 50% mount when under Charge! or with the Speed Training tactic. I didn't play WL before the new ability system but, judging from the SH pets, that was also the top speed before then. At most, it could have been as fast as a 60% mount (7% faster than 50%) because that is the speed limit.

So the Pet being 50% slower is either all in your head, or you are mistaking bad pathing with diminished run speed.
If for some reason the Pet was as fast as a 60% mount before, that is not indicated in the patchnotes.
In that case, if you can find evidence for that (video. twitch clips, patchnotes) it could be fixed.

I mean, the pet was at the bottom immediately because NPCs can't "fall" so they just glitched/teleported to whatever was directly below when it fell off the bridge. Had nothing to do with the pounce.
