Roleplayer on Destro side

So I know there's a greenskin guild for role players but I'm curious if there are others around still and, if so, would be wiling to take in a Chosen warrior of chaos? And to also add in here, is there still some players that do open Role Play is it all based around the guilds?

I think someone founded a chaos rp guild earlier this year - you might wanna check out this link here

Not sure how active they are though. Can't really remember seeing them in any noticable amount in the lakes so far and the non-oldschool guilds tend to be very short-lived these days.

RP in RoR is vastly different from that of other games, like WoW.

Generally, RP in this game means a group/warband composed entirely of members of their own faction running in rvr lakes. They are roleplaying the armies of Warhammer. Fun (although some factions work better than others in this regard), but a far cry from traditional RP.

Of these the most popular are:

Freebootaz - greenskin guild on destro
Bitterstone Thunderers - dwarf guild on order

If you are looking for people just sitting around a tavern and talking or doing events in the open world, i'm afraid you won't find that here. But the themed RvR groups are fun and offer a very unique mix of roleplay and core gameplay that i've never seen in other games; thanks to how dynamic and believable the RvR lakes make the fights; it's much more immersive that the front is moving back and forth than killing the Lich King every Tuesday.

It should be noted that Bitterstone have spin-off guilds for both High Elves and Empire, but events on those are rare as far as i can tell. You'd have to be on their discord to find out more.

There used to be guild vs guild roleplay events. Sadly, all gone when the ability to understand the other side was taken away. But these were the best times.
Bright Wizard: Chandrra Nalaar, 80rr (shelved)
Shadow Warrior: Amarant, 52rr
Knight of the Blazing Sun: Aurorra Morningstar, 61rr
White Lion: Niacris, 84rr

Seeing these replies is good to see to be honest. Shame that there isn't more open world stuff but perhaps that will change with time. Until then I'll just continue leveling my chosen and see if a Role play guild comes up or something.

Like said earlier and also a part of the "Guild Leaders Handbook".
In an PVP MMO you need to do PVP fairly often. Even if you run an roleplay guild.:D

And yes. Out of the roleplay guilds dwarfs and orcs always seemed to run the best in member numbers and activities.
There was some succesfull Elfs and Dark elf ones. But they were the same players on both sides.
Chaos and Empire seems to be the hardest ones. Even though with the chosen and kotbs auras they have the biggest synergies in RvR.
