Always wished it would be turned into mmo, got actually a lot of interesting mechanics like for example dmg types and armor types- there are several types of dmg ingame (cutting, fire, megic, etc), and each unit can do one or two types, with some units having strong armor vs specific dmg types and weak vs other dmg types, while others have balanced armor across dmg types. Or battle gear mechanic- somewhat reminds of RoR morales, powerful ability which unit can select and carry, however unlike RoR where morales are build and used instantly or give a short duration buffs or debuffs, there is much more choice with battle gear- some are instant effects of different types, some can be carried a limited amount of before needing to go to building to recharge, some are constant passive buffs, some are mines which can be placed and remain till activated, some give extra abilities which the unit doesn't usually has like stealth, etc.

I remember playing Battle Realms years ago and just how unique it felt compared to other RTS games. The strategy behind choosing units and the different ways you could build your forces kept things interesting. It's one of those games that just stuck with me! Does anyone else here still enjoy it? I'd love to hear your thoughts on what made it stand out for you.
