That has happend to me before someone took one of my names that I was saving up and I logged into that char often couple times a month prob a bug.

i deleted last char and created new one with same exact name, lvld him a bit and on the next day it forced me to change name. thats it

This is likely the culprit. The game server was rebooted today to apply some fixes, and with you having created two characters with the same name in such a short time span just before the reboot it is likely the character database had a problem with it.
