~squee~ I've been quite enjoying TWW. There's a MOD for High Elf armies that I've been playing, but of course I want more

Looks to me that they're playing this off as a battle for Lustria given the Asur and Druchii fighting there. I suppose that fits well enough for TW:W, after all the game won't ever be canon because the players control the factions and "change history" anyway...

IIRC the Druchii raided there in -211 IC via the "Black Way" (an Underworld Sea leading ultimately to Lustria) they'd made off with an important bauble as they were want to do. This Druchii raiding continues for quite a long time; there was a battle lead by the pirate Allac Fellclaw in mid 949, in 1004 a mountain range is brought up to repel a Druchii attack, and in 2349 the Slann quasi joined forces with the Asur to repel them.

My guess is that Warhammer III will be Skaven & Chaos Dwarves, if they /really/ want to tickle us fans they'll put in pirates - perhaps similar to how they've got Beastmen.

Skaven are in this one. Watch the trailer, wait for the end. Also Lizardmen without Skaven would be lame.

hmmm well yes they had the glowing rat eyes at the very end, but not Scaven per say... I suppose it could come as a later DLC for II. But then what /does/ that leave for III? It's a Trilogy after all... Chaos Dwarves (East) and daemons (Far North) then... A rather lackluster final tile that if you ask me, but t'is possible for sure.

Skaven are without a doubt the fourth race, CA all but confirmed it. Its become a meme that they wont say it explicitly yet because the Skaven "dont exist, we are not at war with Altdorf sewers" etc.

Third game will probably be daemons, updated Warriors of Chaos, Chaos Dwarfs, Ogre Kingdoms, etc. Wouldnt be surprised if there were other Dlcs like Tomb Kings, Dogs of War, Middenland, Kislev, etc.
