This would open up the potential for even more trash talking (which you can already down with whispers but not on the scale that could happen with an entire channel) and BM which we quite dont need.

Also opens up more potential for griefing as people could call out in this combined chat where one faction is going like which zone or b/o ruining tactics and coordination

Because then you will lose the game of WAR!

A war is fought on many battlefields at once. Even in the chaotic state of the kind of WB's we have around now, there is still a certain amount of co-ordination between groups in a faction.

Cross faction chat opens up the door to spying, or as we call it XREALMING!

It is not that it can not be done. It SHOULD NOT be done!!!

Also ... in t3 it does not matter so much because we do one zone at a time. In t4 a faction will be attacking in 1 zone, defending in two or attacking in two defending in one, or whatever.

It is in t4 where the spying will become a major problem!!!

There's trashtalking even on advice chat, which is full of memers and people who love being sarcastic 24/7. Of course cross-realm channel wouldn't replace advice channel so you could always just disable the x-realm channel if you don't like it.

People can grief already if they want to, you can xrealm without any problem.
