FYI - I did some google magic on this defragging of SSD's. Yea defrag does show that SSD's need it based on the way they store information. But several tech sites did show that defragging an SSD can increase its speed/performance if it has had some serious serious use and that very few/if any complications did occur.
But also that defragging is a lot more of a 3rd world computer issue and that newer machines do not really need it as much even if they aren't SSD's. I hope that helps and can save you some google magic time of yourself.

Defraging an SSD not only does not provide any benefit in terms of read speeds but also reduces it's lifespan. You should never defrag an SSD under any circumstances.

Thanks bud that worked and I re-installed the game. Now what happens is I can click connect and it brings me to the screen where my characters would be, but nothing happens. Just the scenic little area with steps and torches (At low fps ofc >.<) until it quits and I get the authentication error!
Also, I really appreciate the help as I wish I could figure it out on my own!
EDIT: 1 thing I noticed is that I don't actually have WAR.EXE in the game folder, just "WAR". Could this be a problem?

defragmenting the disc where my WAR is done miracles for me. FPS is better than ever so it is working although i needed the linked software since i had some problems with windows defragmenter

There is a lot of data that says otherwise.

Ok so after changing a few things and following what some of you said fps seems fine (I can tell simply because of the flames in the character lobby screen since before they were as clippy as my fps in-game). However, now I just cant actually play the game because of this damn Authentication Error that I can't seem to fix even after searching through a few other threads about it!

wondering if the fact that I'm missing "WAR.exe" has anything to do with it...
EDIT: Since the FPS issue seems to be fixed, I am going to try and get help on the authentication in one of the already opened threads. Thank you for your help!
