There's a lot of information I need to manually extract as a one-time task, which I put down a few months ago to work on some other things. I suppose I could farm that out to the community though, it's not like anything is a secret.

Extracting leveling patterns is a pain in the ass though, and might only be do-able with dev tools.

Dang that looks labor intensive as all hell :/

Yes it's happened to me probobly 20 times. And all of the times it was working again the next day.

As you obviously have his contact details, perhaps you could suggest he set up a paypal account & just stick a donations icon on his site.

I am sure that from the many hundreds of people who rely on it quite a lot, there are more than a few of us willing to give him a few quid. I'm also sure that would more than cover his annual costs of domain registration/hosting.
