hm i dont know wy u dont let magus take pet . normaly i have a pet every time as magus but i port it instant to me if i need so wy dont let magus make his pet outside of combat zone and if duel starts i can port it to me for 60 ap .

^ agreed to be honest. I don't see why engis/magi can't start with their pets out given that it is essentially their mechanic. Sorc/BW should be able to start at 100 DM too, otherwise they're at too much of a disadvantage.

Hmm, i may change the rules about the pets for Ranged tourneys. But for sure during Open, in scenarios such as RDps vs Melee (of any type) the pet will have to be summoned after the bell.

Probably what will happen is that the pet could be summoned but at a farther distance to where he has to port it to him, would that be fair enough since it's an insta-cast?

This event seems to be "a player initiative", i'm wondering if GM will get involve in the management of it.

Since the event is taking place on a RvR map, there is a chance that people "gank" those duelists.

Can a GM clear this issue out ?
Should player manage this themselves or ?

I'm sure the GMs will intervene if people gank. If they don't, we'll just kill the gankers

And anyone thinking of ganking this event - shame on you!
