oh dear, oh dear - we'll have to stick a horn on ya Lizard mount when RoRs back up...maybe through some glitter on it also

Played a bit of Riders of Icarus a while ago. Reminds me a lot of Dragons Prophet in terms of how the mounts/pets work. Mounts/Pets have an energy meter that drains over time, and is also used for abilities, and cannot be used once energy reaches 0, which I was never a fan of. There is mounted combat which I thought would be fun, but since it also uses energy, the combat becomes counter-intuitive as all your attacks reduce how much time you have left on your mount.

It looks like it could be something I would highly enjoy, provided they removed the time limit on mounts and pets because I will never be OK with that. If I spend 2+ hours trying to successfully tame a rare mount, I want unlimited use of that mount. Taming is also pretty jank and frustrating and i hope to god they change it.

Getting error message when trying to launch, comes up in a memory manager box and says

"Could not access CrySystem.dll (check working directory)"

Tried repairing installation, opening launcher in admin

If anyone knows a fix it would be appreciated

Downloaded, played for 5 minutes, uninstalled

I played it for a few days when it launched. Outside of the pet/mount mechanics, it's a bit too generic for me.
