Redwind has 2.7 speed / Ninth Peak 4.2
Ninth Peak has good stats but is it worth ?

I used Red Wind until I got the 880 medallion SC two-hand sword.

Anyone remember which one of the epic quests the absorb shield comes from?

This one?

Ninth Peak for me. Best looking. Extra taunt. Bigger AA. Plus you can then grab the AP proc 1 hander.

Exactly what I did, although I completely skipped a shield and went for the movement speed 2h as well, just to try and catch those squigs or keep up with all the AoE snares flying around in group play.

Although I do understand where people who are picking up Red Wind are coming from, if you're running a utility WW/CW build and need to be quite defensive for the purpose of guarding then the proc is very useful (it should even proc on guard parries right?).

i use Ninth aswell.the taunt is great,more interupts the better and reasonable damage capable.
always a tough choice to pick the one you want from these quests

I don't think the proc functions in the same way Taunt does, it applies a debuff that amplifies your damage unless hit 3 times but I'm pretty sure it doesn't interrupt. Both effects in the same proc would be a bit ridicilous.

i'll have to test that,i was sure it did interupt my target but it may be a coincidence and just one of the abilities triggering at that moment
