Ooo I'm Elven too! This is my rig - heavily modded dual HTPC case system with a stereo receiver on the bottom there (I'm a bit of an audiophile, as all self respecting Elves should be :P) Though you'll have to pardon the fingerprints and desk mess, I'm still working on her.

Image

Specs and build wall-o-text:
Spoiler:
Top case is a SilverStone LC13E that I'm fully lining with brushed aluminum (only fabricated the bottom and back panel thus far.) The top case houses my Asus Sabertooth 990FX G3/R2 MB, FX8350 4.9GHz black, 32GB Crucial Ballistix, and an Asus R9290x. I'm doing a dual water cooling system for this rig eventually, a single pump loop for my CPU under a MIPS IceForce HF water block.

The second LC system will be a dual pump GPU loop as I plan to run two, if not four 290x's. My FrozenQ helix res will eventually be in the front of the top case and I'm using white Monsoon Hardline (rigid) water tubing that'll run down on both sides of the MB. I've also rigged up some custom RGB LED's in the hardline tubes, as well as under the MB, which can flash to music or I can pretty much code them to do whatever I want. Led Testing Vid

Bottom case is a SilverStone LC10E that houses my drives; 128gb and 240gb Crucial SSD's, a couple 1tb Western Digital drives, my SilverStone 1200w PSU, and my HT OMEGA Claro Halo XT (running 7.1 audio to my Onkyo receiver that drives Boston Acoustic SoundWare XS Special Edition speakers/sub - I'm eventually upgrading my receiver to a Marantz SR series model cause I'm a total audiophile plus I sing.) I'll also have all three of my Swiftech MPC655-PWM pumps, the 120mm black ice rad for my CPU, an Aquacomputer Aquaero 6 Pro and an Aquaero 5 LT down there to control my water cooling system. The 140x2 rad for my GPU loop is attached to my desk behind my Asus 248QE monitors. Once I get my studio remodeled, I'll have my fourth monitor installed on an Acrobat arm that lets me put it anywhere I want in portrait or landscape mode - then I can trip monitor my games while still having a monitor free (once you go multi monitor it's REALLY hard to give it up...)

For interfaces I'm on a Corsair K95 fully mechanical keyboard, use a couple Logitech trackballs, a Logitech touchpad, Razer Hydra (that isn't supported by jack unfortunately,) a Peregrine gaming glove (that I just can't get used to,) and a bunch of random console type controllers I don't really like... Meh, Keyboard'll do until they come out with a mental interface :P

And I'll shut up now because I can go on for days about modding and computer gadgets... I'm a total geek...

That's a lovely set up. I think "a bit of an audiophile" is an understatement :D

Pfft, it's not the best... yet... Once I get my studio remodeled THEN I'll get serious. I'll be adding a 40" plasma as well so there will (hopefully) be WAR supersized. My kids used to sit in the theater and watch my husband and I play before we dragged them into playing with us - good times.

mmm Sweet, sweet ghetto rigging... Asus board? Liquid cooled CPU of some sort... and... uhm what's that a... Nividia GPU there? 9500/9600GT maybe? UNGH I can't really tell. Ya'll need to post better rig porn pix, JS.

~GHETTO POWER FIST BUMP~
Spoiler:
This was my first mod rig:

Replaced them ugly stock PCIE cables ASAP with this sexy custom braid:

Complete with El Wire awesomeness, mmhmm:

And for a few months the rig I'm building now ran like this (TV trays and end tables ftw!):

All parts are super ****. Spares I got lying around. AMD sempron 2.5GHz CPU, Nvidia GT240 GPU, Gigabyte GA-Ma770t, 8GB RAM some shitty PSU and HDD. Spares lying around :P Luckily, it made a system so I can test stuff for the public.

Huh I wasn't aware Nvidia went back to a shroudless design after the 9400-9600 series - learn something new every day! Meh never been much of a Nvidia fan even if they do run cooler...

hmmm ya know I think I've still got a Phenom Black laying around I could mail out if it'd help any? Don't remember the spec's on it but I know it was faster than 2.5GHz *snickers*
