Regarding beastlord set for WS bonus (since it up again for the weekend).

Wouldnt it be better to have genesis slotted as cape/jewelry instead of BL? I feel like all the willpower that beastlord gives is wasted on the DPS WP. I like the WS it gives but is it worth loosing the bonuses i would get from genesis?

atm on my DPS WP i have Oathstones + genesis jewels, with torment and strife as backups for those slots.

1) Never use casted hots on a melee WP. Assuming you're using the right tactics (DV/Fana), your casted heals will heal for jack all.

2) BL is pretty mandatory imo as the WS it gives is very good in helping your armor penetration, and results in a nice dmg increase. Also, the wounds from back (you can slot a 24 str in there) and the ap regen jewel, it's not bad at all.

I haven't tried the genesis yet because I haven't done enough RvR, but not too sure if its worth removing the armor penetration BL gives.

Wouldnt the armor penetration give diminishing returns when running with 6-man and having the assisted target almost always affected by an armor debuff?

I still need to get the 2 other jewels before I can fully test genesis but thus far am running the 3 piece BL.

Vs squishies? Perhaps. Against doks? Choppas? Marauders? It's good to have that extra armor penetration. Helps make your HoS crits more noticeable, too. The wounds is just very nice to have from the cloak, anyway, so you should be using that with the beastlord jewel and, ofc, the Ap book. Easy 3 piece.

That is what i have been running + oathstones and ring of the fist, I sometimes switch to skaven parry ring with +21 str if im getting melee trained.
