It's a good topic for people, who want to farm mobs to rank up faster. So what is wrong with the thread?

it's so easy to level in public quests with your buddies.

They claim that the staff read these posts and then, wringing their hands with glee, go out and remove mobs/levels from the mobs at those spots so you can't level in a bearably quick manner, because as an alpha game, things should be as tough as possible.

Yeah, makes no sense to me either.

There have been, in the past, some areas that are blatantly wrong about mob distribution. This is because the packets sniffed in the area tracked patrolling mobs, and placed down dozens of multiple mobs on a small area when there really should have only been a few. There have also been areas where mobs were doubled up on top of each other, also clearly not intended placement. I've also found a handful of rather blatant farming spots, where someone in the past snuck in champions where they shouldn't be. The dragon ogres across the lava in Cinderfall are no secret, btw.

I'm aware of a few other places that have high concentrations of mobs, but they're not the most efficient places, so perhaps that's why they've gone unused so far.

You see, we DO use "da best farming spot" as a metric to check and see if something is going on that really shouldn't be going on. Those are the things that get nerfed. If you want to stand out in the middle of nowhere for hours killing the same 10 mobs, have at it. We've got most of our PL kneecapping done for now.

Yeah, makes no sense to me either.

XP farming is totally unaffected for people, who don't use highlvl friends to push their char even faster at mobs not appropriate for their rank.
