Ok so, firstly I suggest that you stay away from 2h as a chosen until you reach level 40. It's looks cool I know, but you need quality gear and high renown to make it work. So in the meantime I suggest you stay with a shield tanky build aiming at this. Use toughness and resist aura always, 3d aura depends on situation.
RoR.builders - Chosen
Once you hit level 40 you can switch to 2h. Get Anarchy as your first weapon, from the T4 chaos epic quest, try a mix of anni/merc gear and use this build. Auras should be dreadful agony, toughness and resist auras. Use strength and armor pots too.
RoR.builders - Chosen
Lastly, going full dps with gear without playing a premade is bad, so you should aim for a hybrid build and not go full domi. At the moment I'm using 4 vanq pieces and 2 oppressor (shoulders and boots).

I'd also encourage you to not think of a 2H Chosen as a "Brawler" because frankly, he isnt one. With the nerf/change of CS to new this new ability. A 2H Chosen isnt going to really "fit" that great into a group comp. If you try and do any sort of DPS, you are wasting your potential contribution to the group.

You CAN spec a more defensive 2H - going for things like max Parry (to block guard damage). Getting decent Initiative so you arent crit 24/7 and then looking to beef up toughness/wounds as well. You might be able to make a go at it, but I wouldnt expect any decent damage numbers and ultimately your too much of a "jack of all trades" to really make it work.

I would strongly ask you to reconsider your goal here. If you want a "brawler" the BG or BO is probably much more your playstyle.
Chosen is going to be the lowest damage of the three tanks, and a 2H Chosen (aside from Auras) doesnt really offer much.

A Chosen is better going Shield, and hyper focusing guard and letting their guarded DPS classes do the heavy lifting.

I have played 5 of the 6 tank classes (Knight, SM, Chosen, BG, BO) and I think BO/BG are more the "Brawler" you might be trying to accomplish via a 2H Weapon.

Indeed, the loss of Crippling Strikes doesn't make you as useful for your team as before, the new tactic Daemonclaw helps only yourself. Still, although if you want to do the most damage as a tank you should play BO, if you stack crit chance with the new tactic you can be permaboosting your str, ws and ini and do a considerable amount of damage.

Careful, if you want to deal "damage" and not "2h chosen Damage(LOL)" you should play something else the 2h dmg of Chosen is so low that you can ignore them when they hit you and you deal if it comes lucky 50% more dmg as if you would playing S'n'b. The Times where 2h Chosen deald 3k+ crits are long gone even on live server.
