I'm curious as to why shaman is better than AM? They seem pretty comparable to me.

Go to the character selection screen, and try spinning your toons.
Every other race will get 'dizzy', but the elves.
Case closed...

I spinned my Elf for 2 hours and i think you are right, gonna try next sunday for 5 hours just to be sure.

Great racial tactics make it a better kiter.
Strong toughness buff with hot is better for kite healing.
Group morale builder vs single target.
Intel steal and toughness buff allow liniment use while keeping stat bonuses.
Can cleanse BW burst rotation.
Better burst timestamp.

Playing them both you only have to worry about WL as shaman. AM has to worry about alot more classes since SH got pounce. Choppa got a pull and Maras pull works alot more than live. And no Odjira means not having to worry about speeds procs matching your own.

Turns out it is easier being green.

Shaman has better racial tactics and better morale pump. Shaman has better access to cooldown reducers. Shaman don't have to deal with choppa and msh.
It's not a big difference, but shaman has it slightly easier overall.


@grimfang: shaman can't cleanse BW and AM can't cleanse sorc.

and Shaman dots dont tend to get cleansed as much as WP cant group cleanse them.

I agree.
DOK needs serious nerf. Or WP needs serious buff.
