We are preparing for Season 2 of ranked scenarios and are pushing out some of the changes in advance to test them out before the actual season starts.
- Ranked solo is now split into two tiers. RR70+ players in one tier, and those below RR70 in another tier.
- The gear unlock restrictions to queue up have been removed (The item lvl 45+ restriction is still there though).
- Stalwart Soulstones can now be bought for Triumphant Emblems as well as obtained through PvE, exact price will depend on your MMR.
We understand that splitting a small population has the risk of reducing pops even more. But hopefully this should make the matches more balanced and the game mode more fun for both lower geared players and for higher geared players, and thereby increasing the number of players queueing up.
Yay, my fav event is backReturnOfReckoning wrote: ↑Wed Dec 16, 2020 3:21 pm Defeating Giants in RvR lakes:
- Battlebrew Backpack and Fireworks
It has switched from Season 1 to Preseason 2. I think that reset the MMRs, can add it to patch notes.
The magus I was with said he got +300 mmr, and he was 1600mmr in that match. That makes no sense. Also if it reset, would I end up on 1539 after the first win? Was way higher after first match last season. Further on the socreboards mmr hasnt reset, not like we were all at 0mmr in the start of the match. Seems bugged to me.

Note: We have now switched from Season 1 to Preseason 2, which has reset the MMRs back to 1500, it will update for you after playing your first game.
