I like the streaming and that they include rules for ALL existing miniatures.
But I Realy dont know how this no points should work.
A warscroll says a Unit consists of 5 or more modells. But how that is calculated?
Also Units can have upgrades. But no Info on what it costs.
So Im the First to say that killing the World was Bad. As the old World is my favourite Fantasy World ever.

As someone who is a massive Warhammer lore fan, but disinterested in the TT game, can someone explain to me how this isn't just 40k with Fantasy races?

I'm prefer my WH grim and dark; this reboot does not grab me in anyway. I'll just continue building up my old Vampire Counts/Khemri army.

Don't judge a book by it cover Bartrima.
I'm quite interested in the new Lore.
Seems like there will be 8 Wind Realms and Mortal Realm where at the moment Chaos rules.
And from the Azyr Realm the Sigmar host is trying to make a D-Day in the first Box and first novels.
The dwarfs are all called the Steamhead Duardin. Where Duardin is the new Word for Dawi.
And as in the new Warscroll List all dwarfs are classified as the Disposessed and they are to their head full of grudges to retake all what is lost. And we can expect some more steampunk gadgets for them.
So I think the mortal realm is grim dark enough for anybody, and the dwarfs/duardin mad enough to retake the lost holds.
I'm still the foremost fanboy of the Old World. But still I'm interested in the new fluff.

Cool lore, maybe, but if that's the case they should write some spin-off novels and get some cool art going. The fans would contribute a lot to that, too.
But WH fantasy has always been apart from 40k. Fans have always been very stringent about how different they are. It seems like GW have just gone "ehh ****, who cares about fantasy fans - they're the minority anyway. Let's just do more 40k." They've taken a niche (grim, everyday muddy feel of being a run of the mill soldier) and removed what the fans love about it in favour of appealing to the mass audience (SHINY, FACELESS SUPER SOLDIERS YAYYY). It's a betrayal of fans in favour of kerching, which is no surprise for Greedy Workshop, but still...with the looming danger of piracy/3d printing, they can't keep going on annoying their fanbase with immunity like they have done in the past.

Thats not lore. In any fantasy setting the world and its cultures is the lore. Thats what Tolkien changed with LOTR worlds with history. Before that fantasy didnt have lore. It was just characters and stories. This is a step backwards in storytelling.

Well... from what I've heard reported from people who have played some battle under the new system, there isnt much difference.
I dont mind the new art style.
I dont mind the new minis (though **** those sigmarines)
I dont like the rules
And I dont even like the new logo...

Its not the same planet/setting at all. They wiped away the fantasy cultures and replaced them with 40k clones.
