What are you talking about? Do you know how Slayers are broken? What makes you think they will quit playing Slayer?
If the class is balanced to the level of a choppa or the rest of the classes per se, he's right, most players wont' be happy playing on a level playing field and not in ezmode.
If Rampage is removed, maybe, if Fierce Might is fixed, no.
Changes make some happy and some unhappy.
The assumption that all players are trying to exploit wherever they can to pwn someone is too high.
Destro tears against Slayers are too damn salty. And no, they are not automatically good to go at lvl 1.

Will slayer getting NERF? Where did you find this info. İm currently playing brut mara (my main one and only) but i think reroll slayer.
İ agree all post about wh and wl. WH is too OP and they are unkillable. They have 12 second parry, morale drain+kd, two stealth, self kb+stragger, aoe armor debuff... Almost nothing to do against.
Regarding to the wl, they have really good brust and hard to survive against.
All these are my experience as a pure dps mara. İ also want to add that, mara is really good in def sov gear+stacking toughness and have a chance against most of the classes (except sm).
