The other option is to put more players into the SC, since it's clear the flags are having the desired effect.
Or you could just lower the amount of points a triple cap gives from giving 3x the points to 2x the points, that alone will prolong some scenarios. I can't count how many scenarios were just getting fun before abruptly ending with the scoreboard over your screen. I've been in some nordenwatch and goe scenarios that literally lasted 2 minutes, that is way too fast.
