We do have a fix pending the next patch that should clear up this issue. But in the meantime we get to wait for it to be manually restarted which will be a couple hours.

Grim I'm just curious do you not have privileges to do a restart, or is it more complicated then that? Didn't know you where NA based. Would be nice to have someone who could address these things in NA prime.

That's not really my decision. I have had such access in the past, systems changed and I didn't get the new access. Not a big deal for me, just means we all get wait a little bit. The servers are usually exceptionally stable and don't need hands on fixing most of the time.

forgive this question, seeing as it may be considered rude, but, can't somebody call somebody and wake them up and say, "hey, just hit restart real quick" ?

The servers are in one of the OVH datacenters in France, one of the largest hosting providers in Europe. It's not a physical server issue, and there's a code fix pending next patch. The game servers are all linux based, and simple to restart, just limited access. We're not going to call Max during the few hours he sleeps to bother him about it. He should be awake in a couple hours and will have a few messages, he can restart it during his morning coffee, or tea, or whatever those people drink in the morning.
