KTW is for a ST build. How do you suppose to make a ST build without your lion, once you need to kd the target and its tied to pet? You're gonna to spend points that could be useful in other trees. Without lion, the WL is only aoe spammer that will need a good group or a wb to survive.

I used to run 40% crit a few months ago. Tbh the crit dmg without pack synergy (bonus crit dmg) isnt that good. I feel investing in additional WS is granting far more overall kill pressure (wb vs wb) than my former crit build. Cull the weak is optional but fun.
In BIS gear and the fairly standard WB tactics etc you should be pretty much reaching the 75% armor pen cap with your 2 main aoe attacks -slashing blade and whirling axe.
Str is great but you only need 800 or so really.
Crit is fantastic.

How do you get near 40% crit by 80? I have 24% on my WL and count my self lucky.
I guess you could count for maxed out crit, wich is pretty much :
- 10% from Sovereign armor set
- 6% from Fortress Chraceaxe
- 6% from legendary talisman
- 5% from WL stance/training
- 5% from liniment
- 14% from maxed out renown
For a total of 46% crit chance, you can maybe squeeze 1-2% more with event/weekly trinkets so you can go up to 48% I guess.

I'd say, avoid Cull the Weak in _any_ build. It's a trap. By 80's you should have around 40% crit chance and crit every other attack. One additional conditional crit per 10 seconds is nothing and not worth the mastery investments.

Just the regular stuff. Crit sentinel/triumph ring, crit liniment, crit event ring. Optionally, +2% crit HV arms and 7% crit chance on target debuff from sov, then you can get 50% crit
I tested Cull the Weak a few times and always get the same result: my burst is lower by about 1k per 3 seconds.

Thank you folks! I see where I screwed up.
