ye i think flail's PSM too low.. my personal playing russia server is lag and no population if both quest solve i would leave ror and go play russia server, and i really want try those rr70 weapon and SOV gear in there...in here sov like kid
and in ror so many player they dont know the early patch has some good memory in ror...only some of character op(but still been nerfed),in Fow all character are good as live those player in ror become white knight defend ror...i want if ror keep some good patch from early patch and keep those good gear release those rr70 weapon andd real sov gear for 1month and see all player's reply...if i m devs i would love see players wear real sov gear...and do some nasty dmg...

and in Fow's sov its good like shield and spear (130melee power) break the bubble(932dmg absorb) fast, 932 bubble dmg absorb can tanky a lot dmg, if every player has eng gear like these....all player wear those gear i think its balance ,i just dont know what devs afraid for?

agree, its a pain to swap and then swap back. That's why it was nice to have some skills dual tree usable.

I think that an option for a build does don't depends on certain mutation would be nice to have, or just make all skills benefit from Piercing Bite, becouse i think that Flail DMG would be on par with others, if that tactic worked with it .

Piercing Bite was bugged in Aor and affected every skill, even autoattacks! Which is a bit much when it was 50% but to be fair i dont think Piercing Bite working on all skills+auto attacks with 25% is not that OP.

Reminder that, among other things, the new Ability Rework changed Piercing Bite to work additively instead of multiplicatively like before:

This means that when stacking high Weapon Skill (like in orvr) the 25% additive bonus is better than the old 50% multiplicative bonus:

Mara with 60% armor penetration from WS and items + Piercing Bite (Old/New)
vs
Enemy with 3300 (75%) armor
  • Old Piercing Bite
    Physical Mitigation = 75% x ( 1 - 0.60) x (1 - 0.50) = 75% x 0.40 x 0.50 = 15%
    Damage Taken by them = 85%
  • New Piercing Bite
    Physical Mitigation = 75% x ( 1 - 0.60 - 0.25) = 75% x 0.15 = 11.25%
    Damage Taken by them = 88.75%
Damage increase from this change = (88.75 - 85)/85 = 4.4%
It will always be better if you have/had more than 50% armor penetration (from WS, items and after reducing it by the enemy's reduced armor penetration) and the difference is more pronounced the more Armor the target has/had.

Im aware how it works. I was more refering spesifically Marauder Piercing Bite changed to everything even AA dmg. Before when Piercing Bite was bugged and affected everything +Auto Attacks 50% Armour ignore was pretty OP but 25% Feels Okay.

He want to tell you that because of new stacking rule 25% PB is better than old 50% PB when you stack armor pen. So 25 should be more op that 50 if effect all skills. And you consider old 50% being op so...
