I think this would be a good idea, either this or adding Solo Queue for the Scenario Live Events - or even both.
This 100%

This idea has been floated before and was rejected. If I recall correctly, the primary reason was the rewards offered inclusive to the Weekend Warfront SC are roughly the same as those inclusive to the RvR weekly event, and therefore adding yet another means to acquire them would be redundant. SC's are, or at least they were at one time, an effective means to level both experience and renown. Adding another SC event is most probably interpreted as simply flooding the zone.

A solution to that issue was detailed for consideration some time ago, but was summarily rejected.

As one of the Devs articulated here on the forums about a month or so ago, a guaranteed two-two-two matchmaking system is already in place here. It governs the Ranked Scenario system. Seems logical that system could simply be applied to govern all the scenarios, thus alleviating some portion of the frustrations you describe.
Mvl130 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 05, 2025 2:39 pmHaving a weekly reward would spread out premades throughout the week, instead of turning the whole week-end into a hard no for solo queue.
The entire server has been designed as a hard no for solo queue.

this would'nt fix anything as pug Scs are on all tiers just pure hell. order mostly has upper hand in heal/tank numbers

As far as i can see, that's the point. You are supposed to be crushed by premades, YES, it's intended outcome, which supposed to motivate you enough to create your own premade since its "group event". Maybe this will change in the future, but, as far as i can see from the time this theme was up again and again to no avail - GET FARMED.
P.S. I do hope that someday there will be a way to actually play event scenes as solo instead of queing just to afk since there is no reason to go from respawn since you already lost.

thats well-meant by the devs if they hate solo players. but i remember looking for players to create premade on T1-T3 and it was just horrible to get a descent grp. i dont wanna starting teaching other players how this game works and many can't even speak properly about group play. most people just dont wanna get in groups. they want easy peasy queues and fights and loot

It's not a premades, it's BiS 80+ premades. Even if people form premade of fresh 40, result will be the same - full obliteration.
Current SC reward system designed in way where competitive fight for 7-8 min with total 5 kills gives you few cents, but domination for 3-4 min with 30 kills gives few dollars.
Two ways - make precise matchmaker and rise wait time to the sky(hello discordant, solo ranked, group ranked) or rework reward system where no matter win-lose, balanced-imbalanced, 80% of SC rewards for all, and only additional 20% for winning side and almost zero from kills.
Geared 80+ fake "pro gamers" will still have place to dominate and continue think thats they are "pro", new players will continue their progression with lesser mental trauma.
Still 100 kils for weekend SC...

Support the idea, even tho its just a propaganda slogan.
However as others mentioned, reward system is way too broken if you manage to get a sweaty match with only few kills you can be happy only from a fact that you had good fight. Reward system highly promote stomps, profit only comes from that and ive seen no match where it was 30+ kills from both sides.
Biggest issue here is if not kills than what? Objectives are too stupid and dull to play around. Could overhaul maps and remake it into something else? Yes, probably but thats hell lot of work for coders and balance team. Reward everyone who managed to press a q button? Making it so green geared 40s gonna be getting 10k renown for dying 20+ times is way too stupid and abusive mechanics too.
I havent heard any well-thought out, good idea about SC reward system revamp. 99,9(9)% of them are total nonsense and bias. Maybe something along the lines of rework and update victory points and give somekinda shares from that according to impact made? Like special contribution system maybe? Some integral of your actions - dmg/kill dmg, heals, protections etc. Abusable but still better than just reward doing 0 dmg, 0 heal, 0 prot and suicide 20 times. That would fix no rewards for sweaty 5 kills total matches, it will not reward bad performance and throwing. But where to tie such intergral into is unclear for me. Objectives? They are meaningless. Kills? Maybe but then sweaty matches with low kills are suffering again. I dont know...
If communnity actually stops whinning and thin out some ideas that would be more beneficial i guess, but thats pretty hard to do.
In regards to proper complex matchmaker system im actually so confused and frustrated why is it not implemented years ago? Its clear as night and day how it should work, no rocket science, everything is pretty obvious on a matter. Have been discussed everywhere numerous times. I strongly believe balance between q times and pug setups is achievable, but pugs need more info to fix the q themselves. This lead to the following - even tho whole community agrees that we need to see whats in q and there are already all the tools to do that (copycat ranked ui) this first and easiest step is not done. Nor any team member stated anything (like cons in their pov) in this regards.
/shrug
They stated they work on mm system, so well, lets see what comes, but this alone without rework for rewards system wont change much. Uncoordinated lowbies of none synergizing builds even as 2-2-2 will be raped just as before
P.S. In regards of storming weekend warfront as soloyolo super champion - guys, stop this b**lsh*t already, you are not supposed to q there as solo to get rewards, if you choose so then honorably meet the consequences, its group event. It was stated million times before. I'd disable an option to q it as solo even. We've discussed this all so many times that its a proven fact that warfronts are ok as is. Reworking them from weekend into weekly is a good idea tho. But what is to be exact tasks to achieve? I dunno, better to think about that than waste time spamming forums with whine and rant of how hard it is to solo warfronts.

But at least Pug SC's are Pug SC's, as opposed to an SC being co-opted by the same six guys all weekend long.

Not everything in this game has to be or should always be about gaining the maximum number of crest as a reward for every little thing we as players do. There are other rewards to be enjoyed here, the most simple of which is winning a fight. Particularly one you probably shouldn't have won.
Yesterday in Praag on my White Lion I rode up on a six v two Destro v. Order fight already in progress. I joined in, and we won. After that, I really didn't give a crap about how many crest I got. Or how much renown. I mean geez...
