I did say when u solo. Not that many classes with resistance buffs and the one where it actually matters is pretty much just dps am. Sure if you want to kill pure healers alone etc talon is great but likely wont solo kill any actually good healer anyway.

Me personally I always use talon because I just want to do max dmg but I just said that all 3 options are very valid and situational

For me "solo" doesn't mean 1v1 fights. Sorry.

Randoms nowadays are quite arrogant I see.
...but to clarify, soloing means playing without a group for your own sake and joining any ongoing fights, same as running 6 man doesn't mean you don't face warbands.

Yes I am aware, I never said soloing = 1v1

I said that there are not that many classes that have resist buff and the ones that do in a solo meta (where it matters when u play as zeal) are mainly dps am.

Engi buff is kinda irrelevant because in most cases zeal just destroys engi, kobs kinda same thing (talon ofc makes them die faster). These days there seem to be more dps rp aswell so talon is nice here too.

I feel like the whole convo has shifted at this point because it was initially about talon vs steal life.
Talon is my preferred choice but the other 2 are valid options as I mentioned earlier. I did also mention that these days talon is not that big of a deal for zealot to get kills because the dmg is just quite high that its enough to kill most things as it is. *in solo play where you're mainly fighting 1 to 3 enemies. If there is 1 competent healer in there you wont kill anything alone regardless of talon or not.

I agree talon = more damage. But again I mainly run it because I love more dots. Also, it can’t be disrupted and goes through the WH immunity move. I haven’t really run into issues where resistance is so high my damage suffers. What’s worse is high disrupt targets.

As stink stated all m1 options are actually pretty viable but talon is what you see more often. Talon for me shines in coordinated groups where you want to quickly blow someone up within the talon window

Talon I think is already massive value m1 if you just duo. When I duo with Daewuurs magus for example and we both burst with talon, well the target is definitely going to die

Alone you won't, yet you will face plenty of healed targets attacked by other players as well since lakes are full of players. Talon should be pretty helpful in such situations

I get quite a good amount of fights these past days without multiple people in them. Often times its just pure 1v1 or 1vX or some other small skirmish. Even in bigger fights if I pick smart targets im able to burst down people on my own because the timestamp for zealot burst is just so good.
