True, I just thought since it uses the same engine, it might not be impossible. Just a thought though, I'm sure the technical aspect of it is much much harder.

As for Wrath of Heroes in general, I always thought that if it was properly balanced it would be insanely fun, for the chaos of 3v3v3 and variety of heroes made up for the relative simplicity. I only discovered it couple of months before it went down, and always wanted to spend more time with it. Oh well...

And yet, the simple function of having three sides fighting each other meant that WoH, in many cases, was a lot more fun than WAR, even with its simplified gameplay.

Oh how good WAR would have been if they had made it 3 faction!

Camelot Unchained is starting to shape up nicely at least.

Devs took money collected from subscription from WAR:AOR and made some discusting hybrid on same game engine, insted of use the money to implement anything new in to AOR. WAR shutdown was because of verry long train of bad decissions and expectations.

Everytime I hear about 3 faction is blessed game mechanics I want to puke. Do You realize when You have 2 factions, they have to fight to each other, while 3 faction brings colaboration. 2 sides can make aliance against 3rd one, so insted of order zerg vs 1,2 wbs of destro there will be for example order zerg+skaven zerg vs 1-2wbs of destro. Because I had expirienced the same thing in ESO many times. No no a no 3 faction is mess end of story.

I really liked wrath of heroes.
I think that the main problem was, again, the licensing.

A private server could be a real good idea.
Anyone know if the protocols are the same/compatibles with RoR ?

As opposed to having 2 factions where if one is winning the other doesnt fight and welp, game over?

3 factions is way better than 2, like leaps and bounds, there is a reason Daoc was 3 and CU will be 3, for RVR is the best it can be.

2 sides making alliances is the point. You don't know the first thing about game balance. Every time I read one of your posts I want to puke.


Every single good RvR or PvP MMO has had 3 factions. Your anecdotal evidence about ESO means nothing, because that game is not good. Collaboration, alliances, is the point! Duh.

3 Faction is not a mess. You need at least 3 to make any big PvP MMO viable. 2 faction is garbage and has always been garbage.

As Bloodi states the counter argument to yours above my post. I don't need to do it.
