Last work on guilds was done when we got the first heraldry. Also there are a lot of unknown packets concerning guild stuff afaik.

There is quite a bit of ego preventing such happy carebear ultra cloud times you are describing. Actually I know and play with maybe 6 people who are solo, unguilded and will not even guild tag up. It's the nature of the beast left over from live. We all have our allegiances, even to ghosts from the past.Tiggo wrote:well the question is: why people start new guilds over and over with less then 10 people ... when there are enough for any kind of playstyle and or/language?
If I remember correctly the thing preventing alliance mechanic is that the "region chat" does not work currently? (its sort of considered as a spider in the web between party/warband/ui/guild related aspects of the game?) I dont know exactly, maybe a developer could enlighten us.Druin wrote:Last work on guilds was done when we got the first heraldry. Right now, the way I find groups is I start pugging, and I just have to see who is queueing up. It's weird, but SC is the place to find groups.Rebuke wrote:If I remember correctly the thing preventing alliance mechanic is that the "region chat" does not work currently? Anyway I do believe that implementing alliance would improve the overall experience of RoR. It allows smaller groups that are otherwise always bound to playing guerilla style, to group up with other smaller guilds with active cores to make an actual warband which can go face to face with zergs (varied ways of gameplay is always welcome imho).
You are forgetting the fact that, while EU organized players > US organized players, its vice versa for pugsMez wrote:Right now, the way I find groups is I start pugging, and I just have to see who is queueing up. I am talking RoR here, not WARMez wrote:I never considered that. Must have made Realm Pride Guildmaster secret war meetings in Sigmar's Hall dfficult back in the day on live. Our US server we used to have have serious business discussions for hours with all the alliances etc to figure out how to take the first fortress. I suppose in EU it was chaotic as all hell. Interesting.
The only spot for a SH in a premades is riding their coat tails! I get so happy when I PUG in a SC with one...less hate towards me and I get to free roam! ...if only SHers got the much needed dev-love they need...maybe one day I would get picked to be in a premade. Until that time...no one wants to play with a Charlie-in-the-box.Mez wrote:Plus I'm in an order/destro guild with about 6 complete elitist a-holes that all solo or duo. We dont play with each other, we are often fighting against each other (stinkyweed, stop riding the destro premades so hard).
