I play solo and in a group and most scenarios aren´t spawn-camping.
Even if you play against a premade, the second "group" are often pugs and you can try to kill them.
If you change it to only premade vs premade and pug vs pug, what is with groups of two players (or three or four)?
What could be changed is, that it makes a difference if you loose with 4 points or 400 --> improve the value of emblems. But I don´t know how you could improve the value of emblems :-/
It already works like this. You get an emblem for every 100 points you have, and an additional one if you win (so winning with 500 points gives you 6 emblems, and if your enemies had 250 they receive 2).

The value of emblems is fine already. For every 100 points you score, you can an emblem. There is a reason why I play Reik, GoE, and Norden solo... cuz it basically guarantees that premade or not, you get 200-300 points even if you lose.

You don't lose because it was a premade, you lose because you refuse to play as a team and don't learn from your mistakes.
Voicecom is the icing on the cake, the fundamental basics of the game are much more important.
I don't necessarily agree but I will say that once I finally started playing in a coordinated group, I felt like my eyes had been closed the whole time previous. I played WAR for a year just solo dragging my knuckles around until a friendly guild was cool enough to invite me in and willing to teach me many basic things. Later, I joined a weekly 6v6 and it was like a whole new world. Unfortunately many people won't ever get to experience that for countless reasons. Many game devs are unwilling or unable to make pvp fun and engaging for casuals as well as hardcores. I just don't think that WAR can ever have enough population to appeal to only one type

Perhaps if there is little to no action with the objectives in the scenario, reduce the Emblem reward for the winning team to that of the losing team? Picking up the bauble, capturing flags, even fighting near flags (within their capture radius)... at least then it's the flags being camped and not the spawn area, so people can come out of there. It'd need more coordination from the team currently winning, too. So a 500-37 SC would give no emblems for either teams - if they camp the spawn area.
Or give no SC score rewards for kills (maybe even any rewards at all, including loot) if nothing happens near objectives for 2-5 minutes. It might not address the pug vs premade issue, but it might eliminate the spawn zone camping and let the weaker team come out and play at least. Maybe try to find a few solo enemies, or poorly defended flags.

Premade vs Pug forever was and forever will be a bg issue in all MMO's. Even in those where ranked matches exist, still douchbags queue vs pugs to get easy kills. Even whenn there are 2v2, 3v3 etc possibilities like in WoW, I saw many premades just facerolling pugs again and again being total pos. It is a community issue. Not a matching one. But if you make ranked matches, premades keep queuing vs pugs and make it available to report these premades and punish them, it would be GREAT.

So the solution is to penalize the group that performs better? Not to mention... you would penalize people for grouping up, period. That is not a good formula for pvp in any mmo or pvp game in general.

No. This would only penalize the group that spends most of the scenario camping the enemy's spawn. If they are really so much better, they can prove that by fighting out in the scenario, not keeping the other group in a place where they're easily cornered. With other words, they'd have to actually work for their rewards. If the other group still decides to stay in their spawn and do nothing despite not being blockaded, the winning team still gets their full rewards.
*Right, the wording might have been misleading. I didn't mean fighting has to happen near the objectives. Just
something. Not ignoring them completely. If one team routed the other and there is no fighting and they absolutely must camp something, it should be the objectives instead of the spawn area. If you meant the losing team shouldn't be able to sabotage the victory, then I agree.

You don´t understand my point. (but maybe my fault. lack of english-skills^^)
I know this. Thats why I wrote "value" not "amount" (wrong words?) But when you have your scenario-weapon you don´t need any more emblems. So it makes no difference for you if you get one or five emblems. The potions for emblems are too cheap to matter.

Why would you try and farm people for kills for purple gear in scenarios which has a much lower droprate of purple gear and stuff than oRvR
It is inefficient
you can get 30-40 kills in a space of 10 mins, makes it pretty efficient when RvR is dry.

Pugs may lose against other pugs as horrible as against premades. Don't blame premades for failure.
