I managed 57 kills yesterday in Praag. Obviously since I was in a party, and the RNG is what it is, I managed to get as many as 11 Conq medals. Which is pretty gud, as some others in our wb/party got even less. However thanks to the new quest, as soon as we just win in Reikland, I can claim 4 extra medals from the keep lord; resulting in 15 medals for one evening. Which is kinda nice I guess.
Calculating that I still need about 600 medals to be finished, and with ~15-10 a day, that's only 60 days, meaning just around 2 months. (however with somewhat lacklustre motivation to play T4 and occasional bad luck of just 5-10 medals a day, I'd still guess I'm looking at 3 more months.)

Doable before the summer ends! :D

almost ezmode by now, much pugfriendly veri fast

So wait, were you in a party or a wb ? Because it's kinda confusing. If this was the result of being in a 6-man, than that's pretty much the kind of medal gain you'd expect, However, if you were in a wb instead, then yeah, people don't have to complain about "muh end game gear is unobtainable" any more as BIS gear in 3 months is fine.

How would you count a 12man turned 14man turned 8man? :D
Anyway, a semi-wb but not enough serious to be considered a boisband.
With guild aiming towards 2-3fgs, we don't do much boisbanding.

I've read 90% of this thread and I want to point out something.

People are focused on the cost and time to grind gear. It gets too much and people quit (as some claim)...

What is odd to me. Is if the game were fun to play for the sake of playing, people wouldn't quit OR stay based on gear grind.

I think.people need to realize that this game died on live... So we shouldn't be trying to "remake live".

If the game were FUN first, people wouldn't care about gear grind or gear. You can be competitive in BL/Merc/Anni.... People get upset because gear is THE reason they play... Which is wrong.

The devs need to be focused on how toake it more fun, not "how do we adjust the carrot and how big a stick do we need" if it's FUN people don't need a carrot... Hell... Look at games like counter strike, or overwatch. There isn't a "carrot" really for those games.

RvR is not FUN... Which is why it FEELS so painful of a gear grind... Trying to do RVR when it's 200vs30 isn't fun...

Make it fun first, and people will play regardless of gear cost.

The game died on live cause the barrier for new blood to compete was to high and this was by design. What marc and later crew didnt relieze was that your new sub isnt going to spend months/years in t4 getting demolished until they are able to compete. The hidden levels etc new people were just not going to put up with it.

With out new blood to help offset the normal attrition rate from your vets leaving. You have a game that bleeds subs and the marginal profit ea was getting minus gw ganster style license fee (they think they are star wars)you get a headache you rather not deal with.

Right now the barrier of entry is not very high you can compete in anni/merc as your only one gear tier out not 4
