Scenes indeed are (or were?) more profitable than orvr. I made it from 40 to 80 on my kotbs purely on scenes in a month.
Talking about farming: how about to increase medallion drop rate just a bit, as a temp solution until that nasty bug with missing items gets fixed?

@thullonse I know, my point was I didn't want that happen here again. If undefended keeps gave medals it would cause it to happen.

By that everything in RoR forums is fact?so my post should be your new truth as well?

There is nothing that states that he achieved it by only doing that, although i don't say that plenty of his renown income could have happened that way.

The thing just is that he coudn't flip empty zones.It wasn't possible with the old system like already stated above.And zone flipping wasn't happening every 30 minutes like in other systems that took place after that.
And as i see that you just want to hear that you're right in this, i can't agree with you.let's stop it here because ( like already said above) it goes way offtopic. If you wan't to discuss it further just send a pm.

hello i made a post about it like 3 pages ago :D

what about give 2+ repetable quest in rotation 1 after another one

1-conquer keep --> recive exp and gold
2-kill x player --->recive meddalions and exp

this way ppl will 50% time sc and 50% oRvr , things can be further increase by add more chained quests

first of all: im fine with the current rate of medallions & emblems. just saying this before anyone jumps on me with "you just want everything for free hurr durr"
now with that beeing said, i think this is a really big problem. people are literally losing progress and dont get their stuff replaced because its an alpha and bugs happen. but imagine you are the person who just bought that devastator piece for 100 medallions and it disappears and you have lost it. it wouldnt be such a big deal if you could just farm it in a relatively short amount of time.

Well my WP is capped already, 31/40. My objective then was earn medallions for devastator set. Unfortunelly, seems only destro deserve that, because when order started to take keeps the rules have changed and we cant get meds from keep take anymore. Also even you take keep, the xp and rr earned is much less than a bo reward. So, rvr is dead for me in t3, theres no fun because theres no target to do. Low exp, ow rr and no meds. Sadly.

I hit rank 31 on release date. None of those keeps that I took for 8+ hours gave any medallions.

Erm.. been doing RvR and keeptakes on my sorc for last 2 days (about 8 hours in total), had about 6 medallions in total. Even when there were some defenders at the keep no medallions dropped.

Edit: if I remember well in live you'd get 3 or 5 medallions for a keeptake? Plus some from the lootbag. Would be nice if we'd get this feature back.

Hmm, I've been getting like 10-15 an hour without keep takes. Already working on my second set, in case I lose some items after restart.

Also I noticed that my healer didn't get a chance to roll on some (if not the most) of the medallions that dropped cause I had killing blows.
