@Devs:
Another Question on the Tinkerer, as I try to get it mathematical.

I'm a Engie Tinkerer in an SC.
I put out my Flame Turret and Lightning Rod and fighting on the Flag.
I hit now 5 Players of my own squad and 6 Enemies with the Rod.
Rod Range is increased and it attacks in every direction.

Meaning I get a damage nerf of -75% on the Rod? (5 own allies * 15%)
Also Static Discharge which also attacks in every direction would be nerfed by -75%?

What's so funny about people stop playing?
1) Use sarcasm, expect sarcasm.

2) If people stop playing because of an experimental patch that doesn't even have a few hours out, i'm fairly sure we don't want them here in the first place. No, seriously: leave. When people tell you that you are a tester, it is true. We need constructive feedback, not I-will-stop-playing-unless-you-cater-to-my-playstyle threats.

Not sure if it is just me, but after patch suddenly getting this whilst queuing for scenarios: "The scenario you attempted to queue for (XXX) is no longer available or does not exist"

(XXXX) applies to scenarios 2123, 2001, 2002 and 2006

Azarael wrote:That resolves to a blanket AoE nerf. People WILL take that version of TB if RvRing.
Agreed, but it is at least at a cost of something else in renown. Am I mistaken that these changes are to further increase the TTK?
Luth wrote:That would make it mandatory for everyone in open RvR. The original TB was a mandatory bandaid, which was the reason why it was not implemented on RoR.
I agree the original TB destroyed the game and I hope it will never turn in that form! But that doesn't mean it cannot be change to something better. I for one would never spec it anyway, regardless of how much it added. It all depends on preferences and playstyles imo.

Note: I ain't saying my suggestion is any better than yours, just wanted to throw the idea out there. :)

Going to extremes?

I don't know english version of "из крайности в крайность", google suggest me that - "to lurch from one extreme to another"

Never good when whole guild ragequits, online in RvR lakes is not so big :/

Indeed an unexpected approach to solve the Blob-Problem. But nonetheless a clever one. Instead of spinning the never-ending nerf/buff wheel of death, its an unorthodox way to solve is.

The MDPS problem is well known and was a big part of sending AoR down the drain. Being killed by a brainless cannonade of RDPS AOE just thrown into the moshpit kills any fun in no time.

Well not theory crafting.
Patch was meant to discourage Blobs.
I just want to know how it works if I fight 6vs6 or 24vs24.
Sorc/BW and Grenadier Engie and AoE Magus can place their dots around to not hit their own people who are behind them.
Tinkerer Engie and Flame Magus can't do this.

Please re-think this change. It is all good that you can pick rewards for all sc from one single npc, in the case certain sc appear less frequently and you want to clear your quest log.
The problem is, to get new rewards for the same sc, you have to collect the previous rewards. When the only drop off point is in AD/IC, then you can't play for sc quests outside of AD/IC, as you have to fly there to finish quest.

Do I overlook something and all rewards are stored until you collect them, even multiple wins for same sc?

Interesting. But it will have strange effect on the number of career's specs in nonzerg figts, I think. Aoe slayers as example with their ID :)
Add: and other aoe abilities in nonzerg fights.
